What does an approved moving cleaning require?

• Floors must be vacuumed and washed thoroughly
• Window frames, doors, sockets and moldings must not be overlooked
• Walls and ceilings must be free of cobwebs and stains

If the cleaning does not meet the requirements, the landlord can demand that the entire tenancy is cleaned at the tenant’s expense – and this can be an expensive affair, which is taken directly from your deposit.
